Little Indigo 1BR Apartment Island Style

Private One bedroom/One bathroom Apartment with gated entrance (Note: two staircases with 15 steps) on the lowest level of a three-story apartment building, located right next door to Mafolie Hotel and Restaurant (our building used to be part of the hotel many years ago, but is now privately owned and operated).

The space

Cute and cozy, tastefully furnished indoor-outdoor style apartment, centrally located on the Northside of St. Thomas, right above downtown (Main Street), and a 7-minute drive to Magen’s Bay Beach.

The apartment has one air-conditioned bedroom containing a double bed, a twin loft bed, and a desk. There is a separate screened-in living room with a sofa, armchair, and flat-screen smart TV with a standing fan. The full kitchen and bathroom are across a covered patio area. The private deck with an umbrella table and four chairs provides an amazing harbor view, overlooking Water Island, to watch the sunset and take in the sweeping harbor views.

Free street parking is available. There are 16 steps that lead down to the entrance of the apartment.

We are happy to provide concierge services: information about restaurants. beaches, shopping, activities, etc. There are also brochures, maps and guide magazines provided.

Our Estate Mafolie location is very central. We are right above the heart of the island – downtown Charlotte Amalie and Main Street. Conveniently, there is a neighborhood restaurant and bar called Sib’s within walking distance from the apartment, about a 5 -minute walk (open from 4 pm until 4 am every day!). Mafolie Hotel is right next door and is well known for its amazing views. Their pool bar is also available for use by our guests, although there may be some restrictions due to the pandemic.

Public transportation is not very reliable and does not service residential areas, so it is best to rent a car. Taxi service can be called for pick-ups and drop-offs. We do not have Uber services on the island…as yet.

The island of St. John is a 15-minute ferry ride away from St. Thomas and offers world-class beaches and a very eclectic vibe. Charter boats for day trips to the British Virgin Islands or fishing trips can be reserved also.

Entire apartment and private patio (covered), as well as an outdoor dining table.

Other things to note

While we welcome well-behaved and house-broken pets, we require notification and an additional pet fee of $15 per night.
